Stop and Smell the Flowers - God is in Control

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field,
which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?"
Matthew 6:27-30

Waiting on the Lord

I have so many things to blog about, but can't seem to find the words.  I have a difficult decision unique opportunity facing me.  Since I don't believe in coincidences, I'm believing that God has been orchestrating this "opportunity".  I'm not sure if anything will come of it or if it's just been put before me as a test of my faith, trust, and/or obedience.  I'm scared, but am committed to walking through doors as God opens them.  Earlier this week I would have told you the door had been shut, but tonight it was swung open wide.

Please pray with me.  Pray that fear won't cripple me and that doubt won't pummel me.  I know that as I step into this time in between and, in a way, stepping into the possible unknown that God won't let me go.  Please pray that I won't be afraid to follow what God shows me.

Lord, you know my heart.  You know that I want to follow Your plan for my life - whatever that is and wherever it leads.  Draw me close to You.  I pray that everything around me would fade away so that I might hear you more clearly.  I know you're going before me and walking every step with me.
