Guess I'll try again later

I finally got everything done - a few dishes washed, laundry folded, house picked up - and just sat down to blog about my recent birthday before heading to bed and the tornado sirens go off.  I don't get scared, but I'm not sure I could focus enough to record all my thoughts either.  So, a birthday post is coming, but I guess it will have to wait until later!

Beautiful for Me

My dear friend, Jen, loves music as much as I do.  We share this love by passing back and forth our latest favorites!  She recently introduced me to this song by Nicole Nordeman.  It's from the newest Veggie Tales movie, "Sweetpea Beauty".  The message is powerful and something all kids need to hear.

Jen, I play this song everyday as the kids are packing up to go home.  Many of them are now singing along with the chorus.  Touches my heart every time I hear it!  Thanks for sharing and touching 22 hearts everyday by reminding them that they are beautiful to Jesus!  Believe me, they know it's talking about Jesus, too.  Someone pointed it out to the whole class the third day it was played.  ;)
